Google Play brings movies to Google TV in Europe

Google TV users in the UK, France and Germany will be able to download movies, TV series and music via the Google Play platform from tomorrow.

Google is adding Google Play to its Google TV service in Europe, enabling users to buy or rent content via Sony’s Google TV platform. In a statement, the company said, “Starting November 13, Google Play music and movies will now be available on your Google TV in the United Kingdom, Germany and France.”

The company launched its content store on Google TV in the US in October.
