Canal Plus signs exclusive deal with Warner Bros

Canal Plus has renewed an exclusive distribution agreement with Warner Bros Entertainment France giving it the pay TV rights to Warner Bros movies for its Canal Plus, Ciné Plus, Comédie Plus and Jimmy channels and associated catch-up TV rights.

Canal Plus will make Warner movies available across multiple platforms both as linear content and on-demand.

Movies covered by the deal include Ben Affleck thriller Argo, Clint Eastwood’s Trouble With the Curve, Gangster Squad with Ryan Gosling and Sean Penn and Cloud Atlas with Tom Hanks and Halle Berry, with forthcoming titles to include Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby and Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel
