French channel provider AG Groupe is launching a new online VOD platform.
The service, which costs €6.99 per month will offer up to 10,000 hours of programming, according a Les Echos report. It is scheduled to launch on November 14 on PCs, Macs, Apple and Android devices, as well as on Samsung connected TVs.
Jean-Michel Fava, president of AB Groupe, said the company was targeting 60,000-75,000 users within a year and 200,000 within three years, by which time he said it would break even. The service will eventually roll out in Belgium and Switzerland.
