TV4 Group takes Ligue 1 rights

Swedish free and pay TV provider TV4 Group has secured rights to French Ligue 1 football for the 2012-14 seasons.

The broadcaster will air the games on its TV4 Sport and TV4 Sport Xtra channels. The rights include distribution on all platforms, including the TV4 Play on-demand service. TV4 will show up to five matches each weekend with some matches on TV4 Sport Xtra being shown in HD.
