Sky Atlantic launches in Germany

The Sky Atlantic channel was officially launched in Germany yesterday with a party thrown in Hamburg attended by about 500 guests including Game of Thrones stars Emilia Clarke, Michelle Fairley and Tom Wlaschiha, and Sky Deutschland CEO Brian Sullivan. The channel kicked off with the German TV premier of the second season of Game of Thrones.

In addition to launching on the Sky Deutschland satellite platform in Germany and Austria, content from the channel is available on the Sky Anytime and Sky Go services. The channel remains free of charge to Sky customers until June 10. Sky Altantic will also be available via TeleClub in Switzerland and via cable in Germany.
