Viacom claims it is on track to have signed up 80 advertisers for its new Paramount Channel in Spain.
Viacom International Media Networks, the company’s channel division, claims the Paramount launch was the most successful on digital terrestrial in Spain in the past year and the second most successful ever.
The channel launched at end-March and offers a line-up of movies from Paramount and third parties including Sony and Miramax. Viacom plans to launch the channels in a number of other territories later this year and in 2013.
