History HD heads to Turkey

A+E Networks has launched History HD in Turkey on Digiturk’s pay TV platform.

The localised network, which airs series including Pawn Stars, American Pickers, America: The Story of the US, Ancient Aliens, The Universe and Modern Marvels, will broadcast all content in HD.

Under the agreement, Digiturk will also acquire several hours of History programming including 3D content for its VOD service.
