Germany’s VideoWeb selects ALi for OTT boxes

German OTT provider VideoWeb has selected ALi Corporation’s M3911 Network Media Processor for its new set-top boxes.

VideoWeb’s B12 set-tops feature a HTML 4/5/CD-HTML browser and QT-client along with support for HbbTV, DLNA and an advanced media processor. Built on the open-source Linux Kernel based platform, ALi’s M3911 Networking Media Processor enables third-party partners to develop and deploy new applications. It also features fast sleep and resume function.
