Vodafone Deutschland has signed a content deal with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to bring a raft of movies to its IPTV platform.
The deal will see recent releases including Rise of the Planet of The Apes, X-Men: First Class and Mr Popper’s Penguins being made available on Vodafone TV in Germany. Older classics including Alien, Die Hard and Ice Age will also be offered to Vodafone customers.
Vodafone has also signed a separate deal with Berlin-based movie distributor Majestic that will bring European cinema titles including Desert Flower, My Life in Orange and Cherry Blossom to the platform.
