UKTV has hired Simon Michaelides as its head of marketing.
The UK digital TV channels group has hired Michaelides to run marketing across its ten channel bouquet, which includes the Dave, Gold, Watch, Yesterday and Good Food channels. He joins from Kantar Retails and will report to UKTV CEO Darren Childs and have a seat on the company’s board.
UKTV is a 50/50 joint venture between BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the UK public broadcaster, and channel operator Scripps Network.
