The German cable operator will add Romance HD on September 27 and Spiegel TV Wissen HD on October 4.
Romance HD, a joint venture between Mainstream Media and ZDF Enterprises, is a female-skewing network offering series based on love, friendship and families. Spiegel TV Wissen HD airs factual programming based on science, research, people, society and nature.
Unitymedia has also announced plans to offer one premium channel free of charge each week to give subscribers a “taster” of the channels on offer.
