CTAM Europe announces marketing winners


Cable marketing association CTAM Europe has announced the winners of the Creative Awards Program, which honours excellence in cable marketing.

In the operator division, Portuguese cable operator Zon was awarded gold in the new brand launches and rebranding category for its Iris next generation platform, while Virgin Media won the repositioning and relaunches category for its A More Exciting Place To Live campaign and the customer acquisition and retention category for Speedy Broadband.

In the networks and content provider division, the new brand launches and rebranding category was won by Chello Central Europe for its Megamix launch campaign. Turner Broadcasting System Europe CEE & Benelux won the customer acquisition and retention category for B10 – Ultimate Alien Comic Creator. 
Channel operator A+E Network won the innovative use of media award for History Loves London, a six-month partnership with location-based network Foursquare that encouraged the target audience to explore London’s history.

Now in its fifth year, the Creative Awards Program was open to submissions from CTAM Europe members, cable operators, networks and content providers. For the first time this year the competition was open to non-members.
