Channel 4 unveils VOD results

British ad-supported public broadcaster Channel 4 has unveiled its latest results for its online vide-on-demand service 4oD with 242 million views in the first seven months of the year, up 20.9%.

The number of views in July reached 29 million, while the average minutes per view was 24 minutes. The top shows in July were teen drama Hollyoaks, which has over 1.8 million views, game-show 8 Out of 10 Cats, new paramedic comedy Sirens, cooking format Come Dine With Me and teen comedy The Inbetweeners. 
The number of views for 4oD are calculated across all platforms including channel4.com, YouTube, SeeSaw, iOS, Playstation, BT Vision, Virgin Media and TalkTalk.
