Internet-connected devices will account for 70% of all consumer electronics revenues this year, according to research by Strategy Analytics.
According to the research group, some two billion connected devices will have been sold by the end of this year. Strategy Analytics predicts that global connected TV revenues will exceed US$95 billion (€66 billion) in 2015, representing a quarter of the entire connected device market, with 67% of all flat-screen TVs sold in that year being connected TVs.
