MaxLinear, a provider of radio-frequency and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions for broadband communication applications, has joined the Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA), which develops standards for the use of in-building coax as the physical infrastructure for connected home applications.
MaxLinear’s products enable the display of broadband video in a range of electronic devices, including cable and terrestrial set-top boxes, digital televisions, mobile handsets, personal computers, netbooks and in-vehicle entertainment devices. The company will be an associate member of MoCA.
