Discovery appoints south-east Europe manager

International factual channel operator Discovery Networks has appointed Vlad Tudosie as country manager for Romania and South East Europe.

Tudosie, who was formerly sales director for Discovery Romania, will take over from Phillip Luff, who was acting country manager across South East Europe and has been appointed country manager for Discovery Networks in Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA). He will be responsible for day-to-day management of channels including Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Discovery HD Showcase and Investigation Discovery in the region. He will be based in Budapest and will report to Kasia Kieli, executive vice president and managing director, Discovery Networks CEEMEA.
