ESPN hires two more EMEA executives

Sports broadcaster ESPN has hired Simon Potter as senior director of programming for its UK and EMEA operations, and Alan Fagan as group director, advertising and sponsorship sales.

Potter joins ESPN from Steadfast TV where he was the managing director Responsible for the company’s production business.  In his new role, he will oversee all programming elements on ESPN’s signature UK channel, as well as pan-regional channels ESPN America and ESPN Classic.

Fagan comes to ESPN from the BBC, where he served as the European Sales Director.  At ESPN he will be responsible for day-to-day management of all of ESPN’s multi-platform advertising and sponsorship sales across ESPN’s wholly owned multi-media platforms in the UK and EMEA properties, as well as driving international sales from Europe-based clients for all of ESPN products, worldwide.
