Telenet announces senior management changes

Belgian cable operator Telenet has announced a series of management changes.

Jan Vorstermans, executive vice-president of technology and solutions, will now become chief operations officer, heading the company’s Digital Wave 2015 initiative, and will serve as deputy CEO.

Patrick Vincent, currently EVP of residential sales and customer care, has been named as chief commercial officer.

Telenet has made a number of changes to its senior marketing team. Saskia Schatteman, executive vice-president, residential marketing, has decided to leave the company. Inge Smidts has been given responsibility for marketing strategy including customer segment management as senior vice-president, residential marketing. She was previously responsible for go-to-market reporting to the executive vice-president, residential marketing.

Herbert Vanhove has been named as senior vice-president, product management, in charge of fixed product development, including EuroDOCSIS 3.0. He was previously responsible for product management for the residential segment.

Ronny Verhelst, currently CEO of the mobile division and EVP of public affairs, will add media management to his role as part of the executive team. Martine Tempels, the senior vice-president of Telenet Solutions, will also join the executive team.
