UK commercial broadcaster Channel 4 has promoted Richard Davidson-Houston as head of online.
This news is expected to precede the departure of director of future media Jon Gisby next week. Davidson-Houston was previously head of online products and worked on projects including Battlefront, 1066 and Such Tweet Sorrow. He will now have responsibility for all of the broadcaster’s web presence, overseeing multiplatform commissioning as well as its investment arm 4ip.
