Primacom CFO departs

Michael Buhl, the CFO of troubled German cabler Primacom, has left the company. Buhl has been at the company since 2008. A reason was not given, but German reports cited the strained financial situation of the cable company.

The cabler put potential buyers on notice earlier this year when it said it would run out of money this summer. Having failed to meet scheduled debt repayments this week, the Escaline Holding-owned company faces the prospect of insolvency. Several companies have been linked to its assets including Versatel, Unitymedia and KDG.
