Five’s Dawn Airey joins LoveFilm board

Dawn Airey, CEO and chair of UK free-to-air broadcaster Five, has been appointed a non-executive director at TV series and movie rental service LoveFilm. Airey has held senior positions at ITV and BSkyB as well as a previous stint at RTL-owned Five.

LoveFilm has grown not only to become the leading European subscription-based film and TV rental business, but now the market leader in streaming directly to PCs and Internet-enabled TV, said LoveFilm chairman, Charles Gurassa. Dawn’s counsel in the board room will be enormously helpful in driving LoveFilm forward
