Eutelsat AGM approves new CEO’s appointment

Paris-based satellite operator Eutelsat’s annual shareholders’ meeting has approved the appointment of Michel de Rosen as the company’s new CEO.

The meeting also approved De Rosen’s nomination to the board of directors for a six-year term. De Rosen succeeds Giuliano Berretta as CEO. Berretta will continue as non-executive chairman, based in Rome, but will no longer be involved in the day-to-day management of the group.
