Zon passes 600,000 broadband customers

Portuguese service provider Zon Multimédia now has over 600,000 broadband internet customers, representing penetration of over 50% of its customer base. Zon, which says it has grown its broadband base by about 200,000 homes over the past two years, currently passes about two million homes with very high-speed services, offering up to 200Mbps.
