NTV Plus adds ice-hockey channel

Russian pay-TV provider NTV Plus has added ice-hockey channel KHL TV to its Sport and Supersport packages. The channel will offer coverage of between 300 to 400 matches from the Continental Hockey League for the 2009-10 season, as well as showing archive matches and related programming.  

SGT names new CTO

Broadcast and media software supplier SGT has named Eric Hennetier as its new chief technology officer. Hennetier was previously deputy IT director at French TV broadcaster M6. He replaces Eric Michaud, who will take on the role of executive evangelist.
