Liberty Global-owned German cable operator Unitymedia has struck a long-term cooperation agreement with commercial broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 for carriage of the latter’s channels. UPC Czech adds Stil

Cable operator UPC Czech Republic has added Czech entertainment channel Stil to its digital line-up. The channel, which will be available in the operator’s starter pack, replaces lifestyle channel Public TV, which closed down earlier this year. Stil, owned by Pilsen-based TPMC, offers a mix of gameshows, magazine programmes, teleshopping and music videos.

UPC Slovakia expands high speed network

Cable operator UPC has further expanded its high speed broadband network in Slovakia. UPC’s Fibre Power 120, which offers broadband speeds of up to 120Mbps, has launched in the cities of Prešov, Bardejov and Štúrovo.
