German cable operators to maintain analogue

Germany’s leading cable operators have committed to retaining analogue tiers after analogue satellite broadcasts end in April next year.

Kabel Deutschland, Unitymedia and Kabel BW have said they will continue to air analogue channels, allowing satellite viewers affected by the switchover who have a cable connection in their homes to make the switch to analogue cable.
