Fox Benelux Cooks Up New Channel

Fox Channels Benelux is debuting a new food channel on October 1st called 24Kitchen. The channel, which will be heavily-localised, is being launched in partnership with local food-to-cosmetics firm Jan Dekker Holding.

According to Fox, most of the programming on 24Kitchen will be home-grown and feature Dutch chefs.  This echoes Chello’s strategy in markets like Spain and Central Europe, where it runs Cocina and Paprika.

It’s a busy time in terms of Dutch channel launches right now. Aside from the Fox activity, RTL, Discovery and AETNI are all prepping services. As for 24Kitchen, Fox is yet to reveal which platforms in will be carried on.
