Voddler launches Android movie app

Sweden-based video-on-demand service provider Voddler has launched an Android app giving viewers direct access to rental and direct-play movies from its catalogue on Android smartphones and tablets.

The app, which is free to download on the Android market, adds to Voddler’s existing web and iPhone services. Voddler is currently offering over 200 titles from its 4,500-strong catalogue for mobile viewing, with new titles being added on a regular basis.

Voddler is available in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, and showed over five million films during 2010.
