Spain’s TV3 chooses Dolby Digital Plus for final

Spanish regional public broadcaster Televisió de Catalunya (TV3) is to show the UEFA Champions League final this weekend in Dolby Digital Plus audio.


The move makes TV3 one of the first terrestrial HD services in Spain to use Dolby Digital Plus. Earlier this year, TV3 announced it would be showing this year’s Formula 1 Motor Racing Championship in high definition using Dolby Digital Plus.
