MTS offering Omlet.ru movies with SmartLabs technology

Russian service provider MTS has integrated access to the Omlet-ru multimedia entertainment directory into its digital TV platform.

MTS is using the SmartTUBE service delivery platform from Russian technology provider SmartLabs to allow access to the Omlet.ru site to its IPTV customers. The integration gives subscribers in the Moscow region access to video and movie content from the Omlet.ru portal, which they can pay for via their mobile accounts.

Customers with non-MTS mobile services can pay via SMS. The new service runs on all set-top boxes provided by the operator the MTS Home TV service, according to SmartLabs.
