Canal Plus adds Polish sports channels

Polish pay TV operator Canal Plus Cyfrowy is launching two new sports channels, Canal Plus Gol and Canal Plus Weekend.

From July 30, Canal Plus Gol will replace Canal Plus Sport 2 and will be dedicated to broadcasting European football. The launch of Canal Plus Weekend will enable the operator to air more live sports action at weekends. HD versions of the channels will be added to the Canal Plus HD package.
