Canal Plus and Orange finalize movie channel deal
French pay TV operators Canal Plus and Orange have finalized a partnership deal under the terms of which they will jointly run the Orange Cinema Series movie channels.
The new structure will see a two-thirds stake in the five-channel bouquet held by France Telecom-owned Orange and the remaining third by Canal Plus. The agreement will ensure wider distribution of the channels, the partners said.
