Eurosport HD to launch on Sky Deutschland

Sports broadcaster Eurosport is to launch its HD channel in Germany exclusively on Premiere’s new pay-TV service Sky Deutschland.

Sky’s HD subscribers will be able to watch various events in high-definition, including the Tour de France, Swimming World Championships and the tennis US Open. Eurosport HD will be one of seven HD channels available when Premiere re-launches as Sky on July 4.  The others are: Sky Sport HD, Sky Cinema HD, Discovery HD, Nat Geo HD, History HD and Disney Cinematic HD.
