VimpelCom introduces new Smart Box

Russian service provider VimpelCom has introduced a new WiFi-enabled ‘Smart Box’ gateway.

The box, which is being sold for RUB1,800 (€44), provides an increased range, LAN speeds of up to 300Mbps and up to 100Mbps internet access. The box offers hardware support for the Beeline TV service and is compatible with the Beeline TV-via-Xbox service.
