Apple boss turns down ITV role

The European boss of Apple Pascal Cagni has ruled himself out of the race to become chief executive of British commercial broadcaster ITV.

Cagni told local press that he wasn’t interested in joining the company. This follows an unsuccessful search for a replacement for Michael Grade; the broadcaster has failed to land executives including former Sky boss Tony Ball and HMV chief executive Simon Fox.
