TeliaSonera ups stakes in Teo and Eesti

TeliaSonera has increased its ownership of Lithuanian telco Teo to 68.08% after acquiring additional shares.

The Nordic telco has also successfully completed a cash offer for all outstanding shares in Estonian telco Eesti Telekom, meaning its shareholding will increase to 97.58%. TeliaSonera said it will attempt top squeeze-out the remaining minority shareholders in accordance with the Securities Market Act of Estonia
