Ziggo ups broadband speeds

Dutch cable operator Ziggo has begun upgrading the speed of its internet packages.

Subscribers to the 15Mbps package will be able to receive speeds of 25Mpbs, while those taking the 20Mbps package will receive 50Mbps via a EuroDocsis 3.0 modem. Later this year, the operator will offer top speeds of 120Mbps to subscribers in Amersfoort, Enschede, Meppel, Maastricht, Tilburg and Heerhugowaard, and 80Mbps elsewhere.
