UPC Netherlands to appeal wholesale rate decision
Dutch cable operator UPC Netherlands has said it will appeal against the rates proposed by regulator OPTA for wholesale access to its analogue TV services by alternative operators.
OPTA has proposed rates of 8.84 for UPC and Â8.46 for Ziggo, allowing alternative providers set their own retail prices and offer their own services to subscribers. The prices are below the rates proposed by the cable operators. UPC said it did not agree with OPTAÂs decision and said that it would appeal.
