Seven Sky websites to close

UK pay-TV operator BSkyB is to close seven of the websites in its sky.com portfolio due to the advertising downturn, according to a report in the Guardian newspaper.

The cancelled websites include money and property, dating, careers, stars, life and style, MyKindaPlace and Monkeyslum. Combined, the sites account for less than 0.5% of the total inventory on Sky.com.
