Vodafone sets sights on Orion

British telco Vodafone has entered the race to acquire German cable operator Orion.

The company has been keen to acquire cable network operators and is currently eyeing the troubled German firm. This comes after rival German operators Kabel Deutschland and Unitymedia confirmed their interest in acquiring Orion, particularly for its networks in Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia.
