UPC Czech Republic adds Nova Sport

Liberty Global-owned cable operator UPC Czech Republic has added sports channel Nova Sport to its line-up after striking a deal with Central European Media Enterprises (CME) subsidiary CET 21, the channel’s owner.

Nova Sport will be available in HD as part of the operator’s sport package. The channel is returning to the platform after an absence when UPC and CET 21 were unable to agree terms.

UPC also distributes general channel Nova, Nova Cinema and youth-skewed TV Fanda in HD resolution.
