CSA authorises DVB-T2 trial

France’s media regulator the CSA has authorised Image & Réseaux to begin trial transmissions in the DVB-T2 format in the Rennes region.

The company is using channel 43 on the digital-terrestrial platform to conduct a six-month trial of the format from the Rennes-Cesson Sévigné and Rennes-Janvier transmitters.
