BeeSmart passes 40,000 SVG clients

Slovenia-based IPTV middleware provider BeeSmart and user interface provider Ekioh have said that 40,000 users are now running Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)-based clients provided by the pair.

BeeSmart and Ekioh deployed the first SVG-based IPTV service in 2008. SVG is a W3C specification originally developed for mobile devices for describing two-dimensional graphics and graphical applications in XML.
