Sky Deutschland retains Formula 1 rights

Pay TV operator Sky Deutschland has retained the rights to continue airing Formula 1 coverage in Germany.

Sky extended its contract with Formula One World Championship Ltd, giving it the rights to air coverage of the sport this year on its premium HD service. Sky will make Formula 1 available via iPhone, iPad, the web and the Xbox 360 as well as on TV.
