Svyazinvest close to acquiring Akado, say reports

Russian telco  Svyazinevst has struck a preliminary agreement to acquire pay-TV and broadband service provider Akado for approximately US$1bn (ve00m) including US$350m of debt, according to local reports, citing sources close the transaction.

Akado, the second-placed operator in the Moscow market, is to be acquired by Svyazinvest subsidiary Center Telecom, according to the reports.
