Kabel BW enters mobile market with O2 deal

German cable operator Kabel BW is set to offer triple-play packages after signing a network capacity deal with Telefonica O2 Germany. The operator will use the capacity to offer mobile internet and eventually mobile telephony services.

Kabel BW currently provides services to 3.6 million households in Baden-Württemberg, including 100Mbps broadband access.
