Swisscom boosts multiscreen channel line-up

Swisscom is boosting the channel line-up on its IPTV and mobile TV platforms.


The telco is adding two new HD channels, ORF 1 HD and ORF 2 HD, along with SD channels 3+, Collection, Rai Sport 2 and Boing, to its Swisscom IPTV service. The addition of Austrian public broadcaster ORF’s two HD channels takes the total number of HD channels available on the platform to 16.

Swisscom TV customers can now also access the programming of 3+, which offers Swiss programmes and popular US TV series. The new German-language travel and lifestyle channel Collection, along with Italian channels Rai Sport 2 and Boing are also now available.

From September 14, the telco will offer its 250,000 Swisscom TV Air multiscreen TV customers 12 new TV channels, including 3+, ORF 2, Super RTL, Sport 1, 3sat, BR, SWR, WDR, Sixx, Arte de, Arte fr and RTL 9. The number of Air channels will increase to over 60.
