Google TV launches over 25 new channels

Google TV is to launch more than 25 new channels to its TV’s lineup, with now over 100 free built-in channels available on the platform.

Viewers can watch the new channels on Google TV with no separate app download or sign-in required, according to Google.

Google TV’s lineup of channels include series like Top Gear, Baywatch, Antiques Roadshow, along with game shows, music channels, multicultural entertainment and more.

The launch, bolsters Google TV’s offering following the company’s previous launch in April of 800 free TV channels on the Live tab in the US, including built-in channels directly from Google TV.

The company also announced the NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube and YouTube TV will be fully integrated into Google TV in the US. NFL Sunday Ticket customers will have access to live Sunday games, highlights and recommendations for top games of the week on Google TV.

 YouTube TV subscribers with a NFL Sunday Ticket membership, can access the content in the channel guide on the Live tab. Google will also provide a limited offer of up to USD $200 off the NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube and YouTube TV when customers in the US purchase an eligible TCL TV with Google TV.
