Spain’s LaLiga launches FAST channel LaLiga+

The Spanish football league organisation LaLiga has launched its FAST channel LaLiga+ on FAST platforms in partnership with The Channel Store.

The FAST channel broadcasts international football events such as South America’s Copa Libertadores, CONCACAF Gold Cup and the Asian AFC Champions League. It will also feature matches from other national championships such as the Brazilian Barsileirao, Peru’s Liga 1, the Austrian Bundesliga and Taça, the Portuguese Cup.

LaLiga+ also offers other sports and competitions such as Spain’s handball competition ASOBAL league; Spanish basketball competition LEB Oro league, European Volleyball Championship, Volleyball Champions League; Sail GP and the Spanish Petanque Championship.

The Spain-based company creates, distributes and monetises FAST channels. The Channel Store said it will oversee the distribution and monetisation of LaLiga+ on major Spanish FAST channel platforms including Tivify, Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, Xiaomi, among others.

“The joint project between LaLiga and The Channel Store is just the start of a collaboration that will extend over time with new projects and content channels, as well as innovative distribution and monetisation formats,” added The Channel Store.
