Eurosport and discovery+ to show US Open across 45 European markets

Warner’s Bros Discovery’s Eurosport and discovery+ is to show the US Open across 45 markets in Europe, with exclusive broadcast in 40 countries.

The tennis tournament which takes place in New York on August 28 will be live streamed on discovery+ and the Eurosport app, including up to 16 different match feeds and all the press conferences. While, Eurosport will provide 234 of live programming of the US Open on its linear channels.

Free-to-air coverage from Warner’s Bros Discovery will also be extended to Norway (Max), Denmark (6-eren), Sweden (K9) and Finland (TV5).

Former US Open champions John McEnroe and Mats Wilander will host coverage from onsite, joined by former top ten players Alex Corretja and Barbara Schett. Two-time singles winner Justine Henin will also offer her experience for viewers across Europe from Paris.

A raft of on-air and digital content will be produced by Eurosport alongside the competition, including Legends’ Voice with Justine Henin, who relives her first US Open title win over 20 years ago; Players’ Voice with 2022 semi-finalist Francis Tiafoe on the rise of American tennis; Ruud Talk presents the views of last year’s finalist Casper Ruud; as well as Novak Djokovic’s Road to 24.

Expert analysis, behind-the-scenes clips, fan reactions, exclusive talent and athlete formats, key matches highlights will be shared on Eurosport.com and its localised social media platforms
